At Nifa, Ohene-Larbi was a sport enthusiast. He featured in the men\u2019s soccer team, track and field, and volleyball. In pursuit of academic excellence, he enrolled in peace and human rights education in Geneva, Switzerland, attending short term courses in human rights and youth development in 1996.  <br><br>\nOn his return to Ghana, he worked with the National Commission for Education, and helped establish civic education clubs for high schools and peace clubs for junior high schools in the Ashanti Region.  <br><br>\nStephen was also active in trade union activities and was elected as the Assistant Deputy Regional Secretary for the Public Servants Workers Union (PSWU). He played an active role working with the World Bank, IMF Water and Sanitation project to provide a mechanized pipe system to serve the needs of Ashanti Bekwai and its environs. <br><br>\nIn 2004, Ohene-Larbi migrated to the United States where he undertook further studies. He successfully graduated with a bachelor\u2019s degree in communication, Master\u2019s degree in Public Administration, English with ESL (English as a Second Language) concentration, and a doctorate in Rhetoric and Composition Writing. He is currently teaching as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.  <br><br>\nOhene-Larbi worked briefly with United Way of Greater Toledo, mentoring high school students, and spending his leisure hours coaching elementary school soccer.<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stephen Ohene-Larbi Assist.
