Her desire to help educate and provide care for children would shape her education and career endeavors in the years that followed.<br><br> After Nisec, Helena continued her education at Aburi Women\u2019s Training College and graduated as a qualified teacher in 1989. She then worked for a few years as a Junior Secondary School teacher in the Eastern Region of Ghana before migrating to the United States of America where she pursued higher education and a career in nursing. <br><br>Helena studied at the Bronx Community College and later transferred to Adelphi University, where she attained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
