Kofi Boafo Ansah graduated with a science major from Nifa Secondary School in 1982 and an arts major from the Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School in 1984.
He spent the next 15 years studying, teaching and conducting research in fields as diverse as Media and Communication (in which he holds a PhD); Peace and Conflict Resolution; and French and Spanish.
Apart from a brief period as the Industrial Research Institute’s PR Officer in 1993-94, much of that decade-and-a-half saw Kofi in institutions of higher learning across four continents, including the University of Ghana, the University of Havana, the University of Canberra, Charles Sturt University, the Australian National University and the European Peace University.
Since leaving academia in 2000, Kofi has pursued a career in corporate communications in Australia. Now a communications executive with the Australian Government, he specializes in ministerial speechwriting, editing and training.
