Q: I attended Nisec for two years and left to continue my education at another school. Can I join NAA?
A: Yes. Anyone who enrolled and studied at Nisec for at least one academic year can apply to become a NAA member.
Q: I am a NAA member. I have decided to move back to Ghana. Do I lose my membership after relocating to Ghana?
A: No. As long as you remain committed to the NAA cause and fulfil your membership obligations, including making financial contributions to NAA projects, you can retain your membership.
Q: I am ready to join NAA, but I don’t want to be on any NAA platform. Can I still join?
A: No. All NAA members are obliged to be on NAA’s main platform. You can still support NAA’s cause by contributing to its fundraising efforts as an external donor.
Q: Is NAA part of NOSA, the Nifa Old Students Association?
A: No. NAA is an autonomous alumni organization of Nisec. However, the NAA executive works closely with its NOSA counterparts by sharing information, ideas and knowledge about the needs of Nifa.
Q: I am a member of my year group. Can I be a member of NAA at the same time?
A: Yes. Many of NAA’s members are also members of their year groups, which are part of the Nifa Old Students Association (NOSA). They fulfil their respective obligations as demanded by each organization.
Q: Do I have to pay monthly or yearly dues as a NAA member?
A: No. NAA is a project-based charity organization. We raise funds almost exclusively for projects to help Nifa. However, all NAA members are required to pay a one-off registration fee.
Q: How does NAA select its projects?
A: By consulting with the Nifa Senior High School authorities and NOSA to identify areas of most need.
Q: Can NAA members stay as members for life?
A: Yes, as long as they are committed, fulfil their obligations and abide by the rules of the organization.
Q: Can I advertise on the NAA website or WhatsApp platforms?
A: No. NAA is a nonprofit organization and does not allow commercial activity on its website or WhatsApp platforms.
