Doris Anaman Gehrig enrolled at Nifa Secondary School in 1978 and graduated in 1983. At Nifa, she took a fair bit of interest in sports, playing in the girls’ hockey team as a goalkeeper. Doris rounded off her time at Nifa with a leadership role in the girls’ dormitory in her capacity as House 3 Prefect.

After Nifa, Doris undertook further education in secretarial studies in Accra, which offered her a clerical career pathway to the Ghana film industry. She continued her personal development in higher education, attaining a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Studies with the Open University and subsequently working as an administrator for a number of years.

Doris currently lives in Basel, Switzerland, where she works as a trained quality controller.
