If members are not prepared to pay a lump sum at a time but feel dues are necessary for progress, they may be receptive to monthly contributions, as long as they’re aware that they’re giving to help the school. We are here because of the school and not for our own personal gain. (Mary Q)
All the love letters I wrote at Nifa helped me to write good essays. Nifa has played an important role in our life. We want to write our history and leave it for the next generation. My heart breaks to see the deplorable condition of the school, and feel if there is a will to do something about it, there should be a way. (Vera L)
I’ve attended several schools, however, I feel more connected to Nifa. I’m always dreaming of Nifa, therefore when the opportunity came, I raised my hands to serve. The first time I visited Ghana, I visited Nifa. I still reminisce the times we’ve been going to “ ntwonke” to fetch water, and the delicious food served in the dining hall – hahaha. (Janice M)
Service brings people to work together, and this could be paid or unpaid. Our sacrifice aims to bring a change and development to individuals and communities at large. I feel what we are doing here is all about Nifa. A journey of a mile starts with a step. Let us join hands together and finish the work. (Hayford T)
