Lynda Sarpong enrolled in Nifa Secondary School in 1987 and graduated in 1990. She studied general arts, with history as her best subject.
After graduation, Lynda took up a career as a stenographer Secretary at the YWCA office in Accra. She developed an interest in computers and studied computer programming, which led her to a career as a computer programmer.
While working as a software programmer with a publication company called The Billboard, Lynda trained to become a systems analyst and a graphic designer.
With the help of her IT knowledge and experience, Lynda established a company called Intel Computer Services, located in the Swanzy Shopping Arcade (formerly the Kingsway building) in Accra, where she offered computer training and desk top publishing services. She later joined affiliated computer services company ACS , working as a key punch operator for 10 years.
Lynda now lives in Maryland, USA, with her family and works as a Nursing Assistant. Outside her normal job, she continues to indulge her passion for graphic design and makes advertising jingles for special occasions.
